After reading rave reviews of the BB product for ages, I finally decided to have a makeover at the closest Nordstrom’s BB counter.  Results were definitely mixed - which explains why there’s no picture.  These are the products used:

Skincare: 

Balm cleanser - heavy texture which reminded me of Vaseline but a nice scent

Tonic - nothing special

Moisture balm, eye cream and eye balm - nothing special there either

Extra Oil - no better than the jojoba oil I already use

Face:

Bisque corrector - very nice - did a good job on my undereye darkness

Warm Ivory Concealor - HATED the powder part of this - emphasized every tiny line

Sand Moisture Compact - although I’m super dry, this was much too heavy and greasy feeling

Pale Yellow Sheer loose powder - see the HATED part of the concealor entry

Cheek:

Natural Bronzer - way too much for my very fair complexion

Desert Rose Blush - too pink for anyone - looked like clown makeup

Lip:

Brown Lipstick - LOVED this - great color and staying powder

Rose Sugar Lipgloss - another winner!  Felt great - not too sticky.

Eye:

Bone and Blonde shadow - really liked this and the application tip of dark lid and light crease, brow looked better than I expected.

Sepia gel liner - there’s a reason that this is a top seller for BB - went on easy and stayed on for ages!

I have to admit that some of the items that I disliked might have had more to do with the skill of the SA who did my makeover than with the products themselves.  Should anyone have to oil their face at the end of a makeover because the powder was applied so heavily a Geisha would have said "too much"?  And yes, the SA really did pat oil all over my skin.  Honestly, I can see why the BB pallettes with the eye shadows and lip products are so popular.  They really are the superstars of her line!
